Sugar coating system could also be supplied as dedicated unit or appended to the Firlm Coating System for versatility

Theory of Operation

Coating pan is constructed with perforated stainless steel drum. The pan rotates on its horizontal axes. The pan is equipped with built-in baffles that along with the rotation of the pan, promote uniform coating and prevent the core materials from sticking together during the coating process.

The core materials are coated by the spray distribution system. The spray suspensions are sprayed continuously onto the core materials, pre-warmed as they rotate in the coating pan. The volume and temperature of the inlet air are harmonized with the spraying speed to ensure that the core materials remain at a stable temperature throughout the spraying process. The preconditioned inlet air circulated through the pan dries the coated tablets and subsequently exhausted through filter and duct.
